Andrews University is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The School of Education is accredited by the State of Michigan Board of Education, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
Drake University has been on the approved list of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools since that association was established in 1913. Since the reorganization of the Association in 2000, Drake University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association.
Indiana Wesleyan University is accredited as a whole by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the oldest accrediting agencies, founded in 1895. Six of its academic programs are nationally accredited by appropriate accrediting bodies.
Mercyhurst University, founded in 1926 by the Sisters of Mercy, is a fully accredited, four-year, Catholic comprehensive institution for men and women in Erie, Pennsylvania. The university offers more than 60 undergraduate majors, nine graduate programs, and a variety of post-baccalaureate and advanced certificates. In addition, Mercyhurst provides certificate and associate degree offerings at branch campuses in North East, Corry and the Booker T. Washington Center. It also maintains an academic center in Dungarvan, Ireland.
Rockford University is a charter member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Other memberships include: Association of American Colleges, the Federation of Independent Illinois Colleges and Universities, the teacher certification program (Education and Child Development) by the Illinois State Board of Education, The Higher Learning Commission – North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Illinois State Board of Education – Professional Preparation and Recruitment.
The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) has received accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), Council for Education of the Deaf (CED), American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA), National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), National League for Nursing (NLN), and New Jersey Board of Nursing (NJ Nurs).
Wilkes University is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Professional accreditations include the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
